Recently, to take advantage of the expertise of its employees and to diversify its activities, SoftSim undertook the challenge of starting its own line of products by launching research and development projects.

SoftSim
had participated the Captive Trajectory System (CTS) project awarded by National Research Council (NRC). The project is going to design and build a 6-def robot in the 1.5 m Wind Tunnel for Institute of Aerospace Research at Upland. The team members include Mecanica Solution and Opal-RT in Montreal. The phase I of the project will be completed in June 23, 2003. SoftSim provides expertise in Robotics and Control, and contributes to the kinematics analysis, dynamics, and control scheme designs for the CTS system.
